Just in time.....I think

I created my last two cards last night, but had such a busy day out and about that I only now am back home and able to post my images.
Thank goodness for camera flash.

This one uses a bugaboo image, and I used a handcarved stamp for the background that I brought from Gina's Folksy shop.

I used the carrot and the egg sides of the square stamp to create my own papers. The caption reads. 'I brought carrrots......

......you'll be needing your strength!'

My second card uses the Mushroom house Digi,

Its a pop out card that I again used a handcarved stamp from Gina's Folksy shop. The mushroom and tree image again created a great homemade paper.

Its and invitation to a house warming party

two cards to share

I have two entries so far using images for the digital stamping group.

I seemed to have lost my mojo a bit and have not entered any challenges recently.

I need a kick start.

Anyway here are my two creations for this month so far.

First one uses the carrot cake from Mama's kitchen and a great sentiment I copied too.

I love the papers that I managed to find and print off.
This card is also being entered into the Truely Scrumptious challenge which follows a sketch and also theme of good enough to eat

My second entry uses the baby image from Doodle bugs. I used another digital paper

and kept the colours simple the words happy easter are handwritten and rasied using sticky foam squares.

Easter card for my Mum

This card is for my Mum and uses a digital stamp from the special 50 stamping group I am a member of.

This stamp is from the stamping boutique, I just love the way the stamps are drawn with free lines giving life to the image.

I hope I have done it some justice. I used my waterbased pens again for this one.

I have also entered this into the C.R.A.F.T challenge blog which wants you to colour a Digi, how perfect a challenge to enter.

F is for

Another addition to my Alphabet wall art for my niece.

F is for fairy.

This image is from Milly Dee a design member of the special 50 group.

I coloured her in with brush pens (waterbased) by adding the ink to an old cd case and then adding a touch of water and picking the colour up with a brush and carefully added to the image layer by layer to build up the colour.

The fairy floats below the fairy text with a ribbon tie to hold her in place. Forever flying free.

M is for.............

I am making an alpahbet wall art piece for my niece who is going to be 2 in April.

I thought what better images to use than some of the wonderful digital stamps from the stamping members only group I belong too.

So far I have M is for Mermaid.

I used blue papers to recreate the sea and sky and a yellow ribbon for the sand.

If you look carefully the Mermaid is resting on a rock made from buttons and flower gems.

The Mermaid is from Li diva stamps and I have been itching to create something with her, she is so cute.

Teenage door hanger

I have used another image from the 50/50 digital stamping group.

This is for my niece to hang on her door, she is fast growing up and I this image reminded me of her so much.

The stamp is called Sam and she is from BeccaKay
